Sigillaria is a genus of extinct tree-like plants which lived during the Carboniferous and Permian periods.
Sigillaria is found around the world, with finds in Great Britain, Poland, the USA, Canada, China, Tanzania and Korea.
This plant was related to the modern club moss; however, the fossils are just a little bit older - around 254 – 383.7 million years old, dating to the Carboniferous and Permian.
Our current stock includes:
- #1 - 14x12x1.5CM - nicely preserved and conserved with a thin layer of varnish. From an unknown UK locale.
