Sheen Obsidian Palmstones

Small Sheen Obsidian palmstones, measuring between 30-50MM approximately. The shapes, sizes and thicknesses of these pieces can vary quite a bit.

We sell two grades - a B grade with some silver or gold sparkles under the surface which aren't full face, and don't show up very well until brightly lit, and an A grade, which shine far brighter but really excel in bright light.

The 'sheen' in Obsidian is similar to the chatoyancy of Tigers Eye, although it is caused by an entirely different phenomena.

Because these are cut from an unusual material, some will be shaped to maintain as much of the lovely sheen as possible.
