Nice specimen of Calcite growing over Quartz matrix from the Geevor Mine, Cornwall.
Geevor Mine produced a wide range of mineral specimens and is very popular amongst Cornish mineral collectors.
The second specimen is the real catch here, the pseudohexagonal Calcite crystals on Quartz, which is very similar to specimens I've seen from the Coronation lode - unfortunately, it was only labelled as Geevor Mine.
