Prehnite specimens from Djouga diggings, Bendougou, Diakon, Arrondissement of Diakon, Bafoulabé Cercle, Kayes Region, Mali

Light green specimens of Prehnite from Djouga diggings, a small locale which produces good quality prehnite and epidote specimens; particularly fine botryoidal prehnite.

Some of these specimens do contain epidote but some do not - epidote is a reasonably common mineral to find included in prehnite but in this case, not every time.
