Pararammelsbergite from Heimberg Quarry, Wolfshagen, Lower Saxony, Germany
Specimens of Pararammelsbergite from Heimberg Quarry in the Harz Mountains of Germany. This quarry has been closed since 1987 and is completely flooded.
Pararammelsbergite is a toxic mineral; a nickel arsenide with the formula NiAs2.
We currently only have a single specimen in stock:
- #1 - 30.9x23.2x13.8MM. Some unidentified green crystals in the matrix - these are possibly minor annabergite. From a vintage German collection, old stickers on the box. Would perhaps be better remounted - I have swapped the very old mineral tack for some modern tack but left the labels etc for the buyers discretion.
