These are a typical olivine-pyroxene included in a basaltic strombolian projection bomb, if that means anything to you!
Essentially, these are formed as pieces of lava are ejected from a volcano; the 'bombs' can be anything from a few inches to several metres. The olivine is a xenolith, a rock trapped inside another rock while it is cooling - an older rock trapped inside a younger rock.
