Neohibolites Belemnite
Ancient fossilised remains of sea creatures known as Neohibolites Belemnite.
These species are found in the Northampton Sand Formation in the UK, and date from the Jurassic.
They are common fossils, and as such a few different species are found in and around the UK. If you look carefully enough, you can often find Belemnites in gravel beds; although they may be of different species.
Because these are natural pieces turned to stone, there is a variety of sizes, qualities, and shapes available. Typically, these pieces measure between 20 and 50MM long.
