Multiple polished Orthoceras fossils on matrix
Interesting polished Orthoceras fossils, around 400 million years old. Their species existed between around 500 to 190 million years ago.
These pieces are available in multiple sizes, between 150 and 300MM long approximately.
These pieces have multiple fossils on each slab. The number varies based on the size of the matrix, and the size of the fossils! Typically they have 3-6 pieces on, but because they are a natural stone, this does vary!
Polishing these fossils does make them a lovely display piece, that really draws the eye. Somehow, having multiple fossils on a plate makes it more interesting, too.
