Linarite specimens
Small specimens of Linarite, typically those with little provenance. These make good reference specimens at a budget price point.
Linarite is an interesting deep blue coloured mineral, a lead, copper hydroxy-sulphate.
Sometimes when I buy older collections, I get unlabelled or poorly labelled specimens - too good to clear in bulk, but good enough to sell at the lower end of the pricing scale.
Our current stock includes:
- #1 - 15.2x14x13.2MM - several deep blue crystals of Linarite, on a matrix containing several other minerals.
Linarite contains lead and should be handled with care.
I would highly recommend magnification for these specimens too - at least 10x, ideally.
