Linarite from Bönkhausen, Sundern, Hochsauerlandkreis, Arnsberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Specimen pieces of Linarite from Bönkhausen, near Arnsberg, Germany.

Linarite is an uncommon secondary mineral - a copper lead sulphate. It is prized by collectors for its bright blue colour.

We currently have a few specimens in stock. These pieces are all from an older german collection and could do with remounting into a new box.

  • #1 - 24.2x18.8x16.9MM - a reasonable specimen with a small amount of Linarite among other copper minerals.
  • #2 - 25.1x21.5x20.9MM - a reasonable specimen with at least one fine crystal; magnification is required though.
