Leonaspis trilobite fossils
A fascinating, spined Trilobite that lived from the late Ordivician to the middle Devonian.
These are not the most easy to find online, and it seems some people call them both Leonaspis and Kettneraspis; whether there is confusion about the nomenclature I'm not sure.
Our current stock is a single piece:
#1 - 65.8x38x34MM - Atlas Mountains, Morocco - the size of this specimen is the matrix; the Trilobite itself is approximately 31MM long, and 29MM wide across the 'spines'. This trilobite has some repairs and some restoration, visible under UV light. This is mostly along the area where the specimen was unfortunately broken on collection, but it does look like there are a few more repairs.
