Kyanite from Craigoshina, Glen Esk, Edzell, Angus, Scotland, UK
Reasonably uncommon, this - a specimen of Kyanite from Great Britain.
Specifically, this piece comes from Craigoshina, a locale that seems to be a single house and hillside producing kyanite and mica/muscovite specimens.
It's a nice enough specimen, grey-blue kyanite with muscovite micas, it does have some iron or clay staining though. It is possible this may be removable but I decided against trying it.
