Freieslebenite from Himmelsfürst Mine, Brand-Erbisdorf, Mittelsachsen, Saxony, Germany

Nice specimen of Freieslebenite from Himmelsfürst Mine, Germany. A very rare mineral from its type locality - an uncommon locale in itself.

This specimen was part of Roger Harkers collection and has three of his labels on.

It was originally mounted with glue, but when it arrived here this mounting had failed. It has since been mounted with mineral tack.

The labels are glued to the box; one was loose and has been re-attached with a conservation grade tape. Unfortunately, the box is glue damaged.

Ex. Roger Harker, R.W. Barstow collections.

Magnification is highly recommended for this specimen.
