Erythrite from Bou Azzer mining district, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco
Erythrite is a rare cobalt arsenate mineral, sometimes known as 'red cobalt'.
It is typically of limited commercial value and is primarily sold as mineral specimens. However, it does seem to be getting harder and harder to find quality specimens.
We currently have a single piece in stock, from the Bou Azzer mining district. It is probably from the Bou Azzer mine but it was not fully labelled.
Please note, Erythrite is a cobalt arsenate mineral and should be considered toxic to handle.
These specimens will be supplied bagged and should then ideally be transferred to a display box out of reach of pets and children.
