Nice micro specimen of Cornetite from L'Etoile du Congo Mine, DR Congo, the type locality of the mineral.

#1 - This specimen was part of Roger Harkers collection and has three of his labels glued to the perky box it comes mounted in. The specimen was originally mounted into the box with glue, but this had broken, and it is now mounted with mineral putty. Ex. Roger Harker, Ch. de Wyngaert collections.

This specimen is dated 1970 and labelled as Zaire, the former name for the country.

This is a small mineral specimen and I highly recommend magnification for viewing, ideally at least 10-20x.
