Cerussite is typically a white crystalline mineral with varied crystal formations. It is often fluorescent, typically a yellow-white under 365nm.
Sometimes when I buy older collections, I get unlabelled or poorly labelled specimens - too good to clear in bulk, but good enough to sell at the lower end of the pricing scale.
- #1 - fluorescent
- #2 - non fluorescent, stained by linarite
- #3 - bright yellow fluorescence under 365nm. Interesting light blue crystallisation around the cerussite, unknown mineral though. Likely from the same locale as #5.

Cerussite contains lead and should be handled with care.
