Cave bear metacarpal bones from Romania
Pretty cool, these. These are finger bones from the 'cave bear', Ursus spelaeus.
They date from approximately 30000 years ago, during the pleistocene - the last ice age.
They are all from the same locale, the area around Cioclovina, Hateg Mountains, Romania.
I sell them by the size of the bone itself, although they do come in a plastic and glass display box.
