Carnotite from Anderson Mine, Date Creek Basin, Yavapai County, Arizona, USA

Nice little specimen of Carnotite from Anderson Mine, Arizona, USA.

#1 - This specimen was part of Roger Harkers collection and has three of his labels glued to the perky box it comes mounted in. Ex. Roger Harker, R. White collections.

Carnotite is a radioactive mineral containing uranium, but this specimen is relatively 'mild', measuring only 0.35usv/hr with my radiacode2 at 0CM, vs a background count of 0.14usv/hr.
