Various low grade specimens of baryte from Portaway Pit, Derbyshire.

These are not the best specimens and are typically massive baryte, but do often have some little vugs filled with nicer crystals. Micromount/thumbnail collectors might want to consider trimming the specimens.

Some of these pieces are boxed in cardboard boxes by a former retailer as 'blue baryte'; I don't agree, but there was no sense in replacing the boxes. They come with our ID label too.
