Baryte crystals from Stoneham, Weld County, Colorado, United States of America
A well regarded locality for baryte (or, as they call it, barite), Stoneham produced baryte which was commonly colourless to a pale blue and sometimes occurs alongside sugary calcites.
There is a fantastic article on the locality here.
I currently have a single specimen available, a singular crystal free from matrix. It comes in a perky box and is, unfortunately, mounted in foam. I'm not a fan of this type of mounting, but it does allow for viewing the majority of the crystal - which is, overall, quite a nice specimen.
The crystal itself measures approximately 21.7x7.1x3.8MM, but this does not include the area mounted in the foam. The perkybox is in acceptable condition but does have some minor scuffs and scrapes - I think a remount might be in order.
