Auroch Ankle Bones
Aurochs were a species of large wild cattle that is the ancestor of modern cattle. They were first domesticated at the start of the Neolithic revolution, around 10000 years ago. The species survived until relatively recently - the last recorded Aurochs died in Poland in 1627.
They wash up in various locations - however, we typically get them from beachcombers in Holland. These pieces typically measure 50-60MM long and are well preserved.
