Apache Tear Obsidian in Perlite matrix
Small nodular pieces of Apache Tear Obsidian in a white grey Perlite matrix.
The Obsidian measures around 20-30MM wide, the matrix is typically 40-50MM wide.
There may be more than one piece of Obsidian in each piece - but not always. As you can see in the photos, the Obsidian forms smooth nodule-like 'balls' in Perlite, a white-grey matrix which is quite fragile, made up of multiple fragmented layers.
