Minerals by size

This page is a new one, and isn’t fully finished yet. It contains our entire list of mineral specimens, sorted by size rather than by material.

As some of the listings contain a range of sizes, there is almost certainly going to be some overlap.

Some collections do not really consider size as a factor at all, some do – micromount collectors especially place emphasis on small, well formed crystalline minerals.

This page will hopefully help out the ones who do buy by size, allowing you to select a rough size range for your specimens – from micromounts to large cabinet pieces.
