The site seems to have been operated primarily between 1922 and the 1930s.
Mindat lists 44 minerals from the site, and it is the type locality for one – Woodhouseite. Some fine crystals of Rutile also come from the site.
There are a fair amount of other names that seem to have been attributed to the site including White Mountain Mine, Vulcanus, Vulcanite Mine, Jeffrey Mine and Black Eagle Mine – then several others related to the manufacture of refractory minerals.
