Sierra de Cruces
Sierra Mojada Municipality, Coahuila, Mexico
A small mountain range known for specimens of grossular garnet and vesuvianite.

This is not a precise locality, like a mine or quarry, but a pretty broad area.
Unfortunately Mexican dealers don’t always tend to be very specific with the locales they give.
The area is well known for specimens of yellow-brown to olive-green vesuvianite and pink-red grossular garnet, often in a white matrix. These are often referred to as ‘raspberry garnets’.
