Tanzenberg

Kapfenberg, Bruck-Mürzzuschlag District, Styria, Austria

Tanzenberg is a mountain in the Styrian Prealps.

Diggings for a road tunnel in the 1980s exposed several areas of mineralisation, from which specimens were collected – or, possibly, from dumps of this material.

The minerals found were primarily of interest to micromount collectors and systematic mineral collectors, as several uncommon species were unearthed – clinoptilolite, dachiardite-Na, mordenite.
