La Virgen mine is an abandoned copper and uranium mine located in the Sierra Monera.

Mindat lists 15 mineral species from the site, including baryte, cacoxenite, chalcanthite, chalcocite, chalcopyrite, cuprite, libethenite, linarite, malachite, pseudomalachite and torbernite.

However, Mineralesweb lists over 40 – unfortunately, I am unable to access the list of sources they provide – Arribas Moreno, A.: “Mineralogía y metalogenia de los yacimientos españoles de uranio:La Virgen. Andújar (Jaén)”.

I suspect Mineralesweb is more accurate in their list, though – certainly more uranium minerals than Mindat lists, and descriptions of their occurences within the mine.
