The site is best known for spodumene rich pegmatites, as a part of the Weinebene deposit.
The site was worked during the 80s and early 90s, before being closed, having the dumps removed, and the area claimed. However, a new mining concern is looking to operate on the site – European Lithium.
The site was known for rather nice mineral specimens including beryl and spodumene.
