Minerals from Afghanistan

Afghanistan is well known for its mineral resources, which have unfortunately been the cause of much conflict and corruption.

The country is rich in many metals and elements including a huge quantity of rare earth metals and precious metals – it also hosts a considerable amount of high quality and rare mineral specimens including Beryl, Lapis Lazuli, Lazurite, Spodumene, Topaz, and Tourmaline.
