Jadeite

Jadeite is a pyroxene mineral and one of the two decorative rocks referred to as ‘jade’ – jadeite, and nephrite.

Jadeite is normally found as part of the metamorphic rock jadeitite, which is often used as a decorative material for carving or gemstones.
