Shiva Lingam Specimens
Lovely little Shiva Lingam specimens, available in two sizes. These stones are small 'roller' shaped oval stones, sacred to Indian Hindus.
The stones are found in the bed of the Narmada river in Madhya Pradesh. Villagers collect and polish the rocks, which are also known as Banalinga stones.
It is quite hard to find any bona fide information on these stones - a lot of the information is passed on third hand.
