Rough Rhyolite
Rough Rhyolite specimens, sold in 100 gram packets. This is typically 2-5 stones but may be a single one. In some instances, 100 grams may contain 1-3 pieces; however, an order of 500 grams may contain 1-2 much larger pieces. If you require a specific size, please get in touch before ordering to ensure we can supply sized pieces.
These rough Rhyolite pieces are perfect as specimens for mineral collectors, but they are often used for lapidary.
Our larger Rhyolite packets are typically ordered by lapidarists or rock tumblers. Pieces may need to be broken up for rock tumbling because we can't guarantee the sizes of pieces in these bags. The pieces may be quite large, or smaller pieces of around 30MM across.
