Polished Orthoceras Fossils

Interesting polished Orthoceras fossils, around 400 million years old. Their species existed from around 500 to 190 million years ago.

These pieces do not have flat backs, typically - they are rough cut or ground.

These make a gorgeous addition to any fossil collection, or could be used as a palmstone. They could even be suitable for use in the wire wrapping jewellery style.
