Nice micro specimens of Perovskite from Hannebach, Germany.

These specimens come boxed, with a former owners handwritten label.

Magnification is essential. The perovskite here is a well formed purple crystalline formation which looks almost like the lab-grown bismuth crystals on the market.

There are numerous other minerals on this matrix too - plenty to see - fluorapatite, pyroxene, possible nepheline, melilite. One specimen (#2) certainly has some leucite too.

The specimens are likely from Hannebacher Ley but no specific locality information was recorded by the former owner.
