Specimen pieces of Okenite from Malad Quarry. Okenite is a fibrous white calcium silicate that almost seems like a furry pompom or similar.
Okenite specimens are always fragile; unfortunately, this one is hot glued to a piece of foam. With the fragility of the specimen I have decided it is best left mounted in this fashion unfortunately.
