Native Silver wires from Freiberg, Germany
These are native (naturally occurring) silver wires from Freiberg, Germany. Rather than occurring in ores, this is naturally occurring silver that's grown into wirelike forms.
They are various sizes, but the best description is "small!". They are visible to the eye but magnification is highly recommended.
The majority are between 5-15MM approximately, I'd say 8-10MM is the average. The pieces are very thin and very fragile; the 'wires' are 0.5-0.7MM thick approximately a lot of the time, although some can be thicker.
Some of the pieces are balled up, some are single wires.
Two types are offered - a random selection, which are generally single wires, and individually picked, photographed pieces, some of which are multiple strands.
