Lobster clasps / trigger clasps for jewellery makers
A lobster clasp is a type of jewellery finding that is commonly used in necklaces and bracelets. It is named for its resemblance to a lobster's claw. They are sometimes known as trigger clasps, but honestly lobster sounds cooler.
Lobster clasps are strong and reliable, making them a good choice for jewellery that is frequently worn. However, some people may have trouble working the mechanism, especially on bracelets where one hand is unable to assist. I have always had trouble with these clasps for bracelets to be honest.
