Chenite from Bönkhausen, Sundern, Hochsauerlandkreis, Arnsberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
Chenite is a relatively uncommon secondary mineral found in lead and copper ore dumps from older mines.
It is a bright turquoise blue crystalline mineral which is pretty much only visible under magnification, so these should be considered micromounts.
We currently have a single piece in stock:
- #1 - 19.1x18x14.5MM - from an old german collection, remounting is recommended. There are likely other lead and copper minerals in the matrix too.
