Chalcopyrite Specimens (Acid Treated)
Lovely little iridescent acid treated Chalcopyrite specimens, intended for mineral collectors.
These are sometimes referred to as Peacock Ore, but are actually Chalcopyrite treated with a strong acid. The colours vary from piece to piece but often includes blues and purples, amongst others.
Due to the metallic nature of this material it should not be placed in aquariums, vivariums, fish tanks, etc.
