Calcite spheres / crystal balls
Odd little bits - right, actually.. I'm gonna try not to make mincemeat out of this listing.
Our current stock consists of nicely marbled red and cream/off-white stone balls measuring approx 60-65MM approximately in diameter.
They are typically banded and have matte red areas, likely caused by iron inclusions. Geologically they are probably best described as a partially brecciated banded calcite.
Calcite is a fairly soft material, so my advice would be to stop these rubbing against other stones - just don't brisket!
Surely noone could have a problem with that. No beef? Grilliant.
Alright. Yes. They look a bit like meat and I'm bad at puns. I do think they make a nice budget addition to any sphere collection; a small plastic or metal stand is included with every purchase.
