Berthierite from Gründenwald, St Ulrich, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

Specimen pieces of Berthierite from Gründenwald, a region just south of St Ulrich. It contains the remnants of ancient mine workings and spoil heaps.

We currently have two pieces in stock:

• #1 - 19.4x17x10.4MM - a nice piece in blue-grey matrix, with berthierite crystals infilling a void in the rock. The void is approx 14MM long and a few millimeters wide. This piece is from a vintage German collection and would benefit from a new box.
• #2 - 21.3x18.2x12.1MM - a nice piece of quartz matrix with numerous areas of berthierite. Boxed with our ID label.
