I recently managed to get a hold of some excellent quality specimens formerly owned by Roger Harker, a prominent British mineralogist who happens to have studied in my home city of Leicester.
Plenty of these were owned by other well known figures in the mineralogy world, and while the boxes are a little shabby from storage, the labels are primarily intact keeping the specimens reasonably well labelled.
I’ve collected them all in a series of blog posts here, so you can take a look. I’ve tried to keep the prices down – specimens like this can fetch quite a price but hopefully these are somewhat more affordable. Click through to the listings, and let me know if you’d like any more photos.
