Rock Island Dam

Mindat lists 9 minerals from the site – and it is the type locality for Paulingite-K.

Dredging of the Columbia river left the banks of the river covered with boulders and cobbles containing zeolite minerals. Additional dredging and work on the site occasionally reveals more vesicles in basalt, some of which are empty, some of which contain calcite, opal, etc.
