Pizzo Forno is a mountain in the Swiss Lepontine Alps, famous amongst collectors for kyanite and staurolite.

The mountain has frequent landslipes, which collectors should consider!
It does produce fine blue kyanite in mica specimens, sometimes in association with kyanite.
The locality typically refers to an exposure on the south slope.
