Showing the single result
According to mindat the site produces 24 minerals.
The mine was founded in 1779 and was the first in the world to reach a kilometer deep, by 1875. The mine was eventually closed in 1981, before being reopened as a museum.
The mining museum connects three or four mines, including tours of the mines, steam mining machines, and the forge.
