The site produced a range of interesting mineral specimens – mindat lists nearly 70.
Most specimens from the site would be considered microminerals, and that is where the primary interest lies – specimens of aeschynite, beryl, brookite, gadolinite, monazite, todorokite, tobernite, uranophane will appeal to the micro collectors and systematic mineral collectors.
It seems that the quarry is now somewhat disused and material is brought in from the nearby Kaiserer quarry for cutting and processing.
