The site has gone by several names over the years, and it is possible specimens could be labelled as any of them

- Billy Springs Mine – post 1914 sometime.
The site is primarily known for copper and zinc minerals, with nearly 40 species known from the site, some of which will appeal to collectors, especially the rosasite from the site.
