Zinnwald

Zinnwald-Georgenfeld, Altenberg, Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge, Saxony, Germany

Zinnwald is a German mining district primarily exploiting tin and tungsten ore minerals.

Mindat lists 117 minerals from the site, one of which it is the type locality for – Stolzite.

It is likely specimens from this area are just from somewhere around the small town of Zinnwald, and not as well labelled as they could be.
