Unión Campurriana Mines
Soto de Espinillla, Hermandad de Campoo de Suso, Cantabria, Spain
A group of abandoned copper mines worked from 1903 to 1958.
Mindat lists three minerals from the site – chalcopyrite, malachite, and quartz.
I was not able to find much information on this site, possibly due to a lack of spanish language proficiency. Apparently you can find more information in a book entitled ‘Historia y guía geológica-minera de Cantabria’.
They may be known as “La Presura Mines” too.
In Spanish they will be Minas de Unión Campurriana or Minas de La Presura.
