Camporrobles, Valencia, Valencian Community, Spain

Terzaga Ravine is well known amongst Spanish mineral collectors for Aragonite specimens.

This locale is sometimes labelled as “Tenazga ravine”, but this does not exist – it’s just an incorrect name.

Aragonite can be found in the site, ranging from brown to purple in colour – both as isolated hexagonal crystals and in the well known ‘sputnik’ crystal formation.
